Bantry's central location provides easy access to a very large catchment area that takes in most of West Cork, including the main peninsulas, the coastal towns along the N71 from Cork to Killarney and the Lee Valley to Macroom. The Bantry Business Association has been established for over 15 years and represents over 100 family and independently owned businesses and is leading the expansion of commercial activity in the area. The Association is a very powerful lobbying group at regional, County and National levels tackling the promotion of current commercial activity as well as the development of new businesses in Bantry.
