Take a Walk in West Cork at The Bantry Walking Festival from the 2nd – 4th of June.


Throughout the weekend, there are a variety of guided walks on the mountains, islands and peninsulas around Bantry in County Cork. So whether it’s a ramble around Whiddy Island, or a strenuous hike up Hungary Hill or to catch the view from the highest point on the stunning Sheeps Head Way, or a riverside walk, starting from the historic Castle Donovan in Drimoleague, or the beautiful walk in the Mealagh Valley, there is a walk to suit all abilities. To start the festival there will be a Heritage Walk around Bantry Town on Friday 2nd June starting from Bantry Tourist Office at 6.30. All are welcome.
